Join DLR Biodiversity with Justin Ivory for a Walk & Talk Exploring Life Along the River’s Edge in Clonkeen Park. Discover the hidden watery world teeming with life along our local river corridor! Enjoy a relaxed and informative Walk & Talk through riparian and river habitats of the park, exploring the rich biodiversity that thrives where land meets water.

As we follow the river’s path through the linear park, we’ll uncover insects, pollinators and birds that call the riverbanks home. We will discuss the importance of riparian buffers along the rivers banks and the diverse and amazing biodiversity that these systems support.

Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a budding ecologist, or just curious about the wildlife around you, this is a great chance to see the park through a new lens and understand why these habitats are vital for both people and nature.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Places are limited. To attend the event book your place on Eventbrite.
