Dublin Rural LEADER announced the launch of a free Capacity Building Training Programme for voluntary and community groups operating in the rural areas of Fingal, South Dublin, and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown.
This training programme is designed to empower local groups with the tools and knowledge they need to strengthen their governance, build sustainability, and increase their impact. Modules will include topics such as:
- Good governance and compliance
- Fundraising and accessing grants
- Financial and project management
- Volunteer recruitment and retention
- Strategic planning
- Social media and digital communications
Training will run from September to November 2025 once a week online, with 2 workshops included at accessible venues across rural Dublin. All training is free of charge, but places are limited and registration is essential.
